She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ernest and Mary Ellen Turner Oakley; her husbands, Ervin Levern Miller and Malcome Martin; her sons, Ervin and Kenneth; her close friend Wayne Allen; her siblings, Doris Munn, Nettie Meyers, Virginia Moore and Jerry Oakley; and her siblings-in-law, Ijane Corder and Jack Martin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joyce Scurry (Steve) and Donna Baughman (Eddie); her sister Peggy Jeffords; her sisters-in-law, Gloria Oakley, Darnell Davis and Patty Groff Yonce; and her pet Sugar Baby. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren.
