It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Morris of Elgin, South Carolina, born in Huger, South Carolina, who passed away on June 27, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Morris and Martha Augusta "Gussie" Morris; his son Jeffrey Phillips, Sr.; and his brothers, Delphin Morris and Kenny Morris.
He is survived by: his children, Warren Morris (Paula) of Elgin, Donna Morris Barnette (Kevin) of Moncks Corner and Jeri Lynn Phillips of Elgin; his grandchildren, Kevin Wadford (Jennifer), Kristy Morris, Ashly Morris, Brandon Morris and Jeffrey Phillips, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Jimmy Wadford, Maddison Wadford Gerkin (Bryan), Elle Jean Morris, Ryder Phillips, Dawson Phillips and Lennox Phillips; and his siblings, Mary Thomas, Betty Brassell, Vernon Morris and Carl Blease.
