With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Russell A. Hackney (Ehrhardt, South Carolina), who passed away on May 18, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his spouse Martha Ann Dannelly Hackney; his parents, Ollie Lee Hackney and Charlotte Gignilliant Hackney; his son John Andrew Hackney; and his brothers, Lawrence Hackney, Rodney Hackney and Ollie "Trez" Hackney.
He is survived by: his son Russell D. Hackney of Ehrhardt; his sisters, Martha Ann Warren of Williams and Barbara Stillings; his brother-in-law Jess B. Dannelly (Wendy); and his grandchildren, Leslie Ann Hackney and Neeley Ann Hackney.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be directed in his memory to: Saint James United Methodist Church, 1 Broadway Street, Ehrhardt, South Carolina 29081.
