It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marie Jarrell of Ehrhardt, South Carolina, born in Hampton, South Carolina, who passed away on December 24, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William Everett Jarrell; her parents, George Cromer Platts and Marie Barnes Platts; her grandson Bryan Murdaugh; her great grandchild Justin Murdaugh; and her sisters, Marion Cone, Edna Westbury and Doris Collins.
She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Murdaugh (Lawrence) of Brunson and Dennis Jarrell (Cindy) of Jacksonboro; her grandsons, Kevin Murdaugh (Amy) and Sean Murdaugh (Tina); and her great grandchildren, Mariah Murdaugh and Grace Murdaugh. She is also survived by her children, family and friends.
