He was predeceased by: his parents, Hughesy Kinard and Sadie Priester Kinard; and his siblings, James Kinard, Ina Kinard Fail and Lois Kinard Barnes.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Barnes Kinard; his children, Donald "Donnie" Kinard (Jean) of Jacksonville and Deborah "Debbie" Kinard Barrineau of Kiawah; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Jordan, Joshua Kinard and Brooke Neal Hartman; his great grandchildren, Hayden Hartman and Adeline Kinard; and his sister-in-law Murdelle Varner of Walterboro.
