She was predeceased by: her parents, Gratton Meeks and Grady Meeks Brown; her daughters, Linda Wright and Jane Campbell; and also, Charles Stancel Ayer and George B. Bassett, Jr..
She is survived by: her sons, Clyde Ayer (Mary Gray) of Ehrhardt and Charles Ayer of Ehrhardt; her stepdaughters, Lisa Metzger (Ted) of Fairfax and Lynn Sox (Vernon) of Fairfax; her grandchildren, Teresa Smith (Roger), Charleen Morris, Tammy Ayer, Michael Ayer (Becky), Brandon Ayer (Natalie), Brian Ayer (Shanna), Joey Campbell (Amanda), Clay Wright (Natalie), Chuck Wright, Adam Chaimowitz (Sophie), Allison Metzger and T. J. Metzger; her brother Ken Meeks of Florida; and also Mary Gillam. She is also survived by 24 great grandchildren; 15 great great grandchildren.
