He was predeceased by: his parent Lamar R. Peters, Sr.; and his sons, Lamar Rudolph Peters III and Gary Peters. He is survived by: his parent Hazel Ehrhardt Peters; his children, William "Billy" Peters (Olga) of Islamorada, Larry Peters (Theresa) of Walterboro, Kevin Peters of Alaska and Terry Peters (Brittany) of Bamberg; and his siblings, Jerry Peters of Charleston, Tony Peters of Greenville, Dale Peters of Texas, Grace Strobel of Summerville and Gail Davis of Lexington.
