It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Mingo Sr. (Ehrhardt, South Carolina), born in Bamberg, South Carolina, who passed away on October 17, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Sease-Mingo and Mattie Sease-Mingo; and his granddaughter Pamela Mingo-Hyman. He is survived by: his wife Roslin Mingo of Ehrhardt, SC.; his daughters, Diane Mingo-Bamberg (Clyde), Modestine Mingo-Dewitte (David) of Irmo, SC and Lorene Mingo of Columbia, SC; his daughter-in-law Shirley Mingo of Bamberg, SC.; his sons, Melvin Mingo (Grace) of Ehrhardt, SC, Joseph Mingo Jr. (Brenda), Jeffrey Mingo of Orangeburg, SC and Marvin Mingo of Bamberg, SC; his brother James Mingo (Jeri) of Gilbert, SC.; his siblings-in-law, Henry Breland, James Breland (Charlotte), Joann Mingo, Carrie Lawton, Ruthie Burton (Obra), Helen Wiggins and Daisy Reddish; and his nephew Gregory Murdock of Ehrhardt, SC. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.
