She was predeceased by: her spouse Alyea Hiers; her parents, James Monroe McKenzie and Inez Priester McKenzie; and her siblings, Sara Louise Caldwell, Jenny Bailey Thomas, Montye DuBose, Jackie Hiers of Lanham McKenzie, C. F and James Henry Smith.
She is survived by: her children, John Alyea Hiers of Pineville, Aubrey Hiers Rosier (Kenneth) of Barnwell, Marty Hiers of Walterboro and Yvonne Hiers Dobbins Williams (Carl) of Ehrhardt; her brother J. M. McKenzie of Lexington; her sister-in-law Marie McKenzie of Lexington; her grandchildren, Crystal Hiers Ackerman (Nick), Tiffany E. Hiers, McKenzie Dobbins Reeves (John), John Bradley Hiers, Will G. Rimes, III (Krista), Haley Smith, Jason Adkins (Deanna), Brannon Faulkner (Kevin) and Craig Rosier; and her great grandchildren, Riley Ackerman, Bailey Ackerman, Hadley Grace Hiers, Weston Adkins, Dylan Adkins, Tinsley Koon, Cameron Koon, Carl Williams, III, Ava Williams, Aubrey Ann Williams and Ella Williams. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
