It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tahmauri I'Moni Shyzel Sims (Effingham, South Carolina), born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on August 31, 2023, at the age of 28, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandfathers, Ray Allen Redden and Joseph McCants. She is survived by: her parents, Tabitha Redden and Maurice Sims; her grandparents, Diane Fulton (Walter), Amityville of New York, Gaddy Johnson Jr., Deborah Sims and Michael Wanzer of Florence; her great-grandparent Viola Hines; her sisters, Damoni Waiters of Florence, Brailyn Benjamin of Florence, Myeshah Sims of Florence and Megan Sims of Florence; her aunts, Pia Redden Eaddy (Tony), Longfield and Latonya Sims (Vanessa Wanzer); and her niece Milaun Waiters. She is also survived by great-grand aunts and uncles; a host of grand aunts uncles, cousins and friends.
