She was predeceased by: her parents, John Marlowe and Herbert Mae Collins Marlowe; her husband Walter Wendell Merritt; her granddaughter Tori Gomez; and her brother John W. Marlowe.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Bair (David), Angela Gomez (Rick), Renee Melton (Frankie) and Andrew Merritt; and her grandchildren, Brian, Dawn, Ashley, Hunter, Heather, Taylor, Aaron, Jesse, Hailey and Andrea. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
