He is survived by: his wife Alice Taylor Broome; his daughters, Heather Williams (Joe) of Florence, Jeanne Barnes (Eric) of Florence, Maria Ledford (David) of Effingham and Pam Galloway (Kevin) of Effingham; and his sister Lisa Welch of Florence. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
