He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Vidt and Flora Fincke Vidt; and his brother Glenn Vidt. He is survived by: his wife Victoria Joan Browner Vidt; his children, Wendi Schulman, Eric Vidt and Neil Vidt; his grandchildren, Nicholas Schulman (Corey Taylor) and Alexa Vidt; and his great grandchild Michael Taylor. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Highland Park United Methodist Church (1300 2nd Loop Rd, Florence, SC 29505).
