It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Wilbert Lee of Effingham, South Carolina, born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on May 2, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Jeanette Myers Lee; his parents, Delton Lee and Gaynelle Huff Lee; his son John Donald Lee; and his siblings, Beatrice "Bea" Lee Davis, Nell Lee Rinesmith, Carolyn Joyce Lee, Gertrude Lee Shirey, Wanda Lee Jeffcoat, Garvin Earnest Lee, Sr. of Raymond Baron, Newell "Nink" Lee and Larry "Buddy" Lee.
He is survived by: his brothers, Delton Lee, Jr. (Innie) of Lexington and Arnold Lamar Lee (Carolyn) of Jacksonville, FL; his niece Jackie Cribb of Effingham; his great-niece Kristina Cribb of Effingham; his great-nephew Al Cribb of Effingham; his siblings-in-law, Rita Craft Lee of Lexington, Nancy Lee of Darlington and James Jeffcoat of Lexington; and his close friend Libby Morris of Lake City.
