It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Jean Newell (Effingham, South Carolina), born in Fernandina Beach, Florida, who passed away on October 27, 2019, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Norma Newsom Rowe and Joseph H. Rowe; her husband Jack Newell; her sons, Bill Collins (Christi) and Joe Collins; her grandchildren, Boyce, Powell, Laurin and Deborah Collins; her siblings, Brenda Truett (Russell), Beverly Bishop and Danny Rowe (Janet); and her pet Jimmy. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
