He is survived by: his wife Chessie Mae Broach Allen; his sons, Carlton Ray Allen (Teresa) of Effingham, SC, Raymond Charles Allen (Rhonda) of Effingham, SC, D. Furman Allen of Effingham, SC and Paul Gregory Allen (Jodie) of Florence; and his siblings, A. C. Allen of Florence and Gloria Jean Oakley of Effingham. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
