With solemn reverence, we commemorate Doris Turner Woodberry of Effingham, South Carolina, whose life came to an end on November 21, 2024 at the age of 71, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Lacy and Estelle Lawson Turner; and her siblings, Peggy Lou Smith, Karen T. Skipper, Joseph Allard Turner and Jimmy Turner.
She is survived by: her husband George W. Woodberry; her siblings, Billy Wayne Turner, Beulah Dorman, Gloria Rabon and Linda Simmons; and her brother-in-law Joey W. Skipper Jr.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and many other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First FWB Church (2624 W Palmetto St, Florence, SC 29501). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Old Neck Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First FWB Church building fund.
