She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Edgar Morris and Maggie Mims Morris; her daughters, Margaret Wilkes and Joanne Gainey; her sons-in-law, Kerry Craig and Arvle Wilkes; and her brothers, Alton Morris, Harry Lee Morris, Darrell Morris, Gene Morris and Otis "Bo" Morris.
She is survived by: her husband H. W. Turner, Sr. of Effingham; her children, Bo Turner (Michelle), Kip Turner (Amy), Judy Craig, Edith Watts (Jerry), Connie Braddock (Mark) and Jeannie Strickland (Robbie); her grandchildren, Angela Bell (Michael), Keith Lawhon, Brandy Hatchell (Matt), Jay Watts (Jessica), Casey Tarlton (Alex), Courtney Lewis (Kyle), Christopher Braddock (Tierney), Meredith Strickland, Hunter Turner, Graeson Powell and Haedyn Turner; and her sister Lois Jeffords. She is also survived by wife of 70 years, and being a mom and grandmother.
