It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher Lawrence of Effingham, South Carolina, who passed away on March 1, 2023, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Carolyn Atkins Lawrence; his grandparents, Bessie Atkins, John Talmadge "JT" Atkins, Wilbur Hook Lawrence, II and Arbell Parker; and his stepgrandparent Belma Goude.
He is survived by: his wife Mindy Stiles Lawrence; his children, Dylan Paul Lawrence (Harlee) and Sarah Faith Lawrence; his granddaughter Sofia Lawrence; his father Wilbur Hook "Sonny" Lawrence, III (Diane); and his siblings, Pete Lawrence (Lynn Stone), Michael Lawrence (Apryl), Cory Henderson (Rachael), Suanne Poston (Jerry) and Brandy Mayes (Andrew). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
