He was predeceased by: his children, Reginald Richardson, Martez Bennett and Cordell Bennett; his grandson Jaxson Bennett; his parents, Glen Bennett, Sr. and Edna W. Bennett; his siblings, Permon Bennett, Nathaniel Bennett, Ethel Bennett, Kathleen Bennett, Franklin Bennett, Lillian Frost and Barbara Bennett; his uncle Ivory Robinson; and his father-in-law Isiah Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Bennett; his children, Joshua Bennett, Shavonna Bennett, Wendell Richardson and Tiffany Richardson; his siblings, Hallie Bennett, Glen Avon Bennett, Sr., Desmond Bennett (Gilda), Rodney Bennett and Ida Wright; his uncle Solomon Robinson; his mother-in-law Pearl Wright; his daughter Valencia Wright; his in-laws, Calvin Wright (Georgia), Raleigh Wright (Pat), Geneva Wright and Shirley Gadsden; his cousin Cathy Hutchinson; and his son Ronnie Hutchinson. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the Allen AME Church (8060 Botany Bay Rd, Edisto Island, SC 29485). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the Zion Re Cemetery.
