He is survived by: his mother Gloria Snipes Neal; his wife Betsy Couch Neal; his daughters, Rebecca Neal Madden (Sean) and Frances Elizabeth Neal Mendoza (Alejandra); his sister Lisa Neal Baker (Mark); his sister-in-law Doris Troutman Neal; and his brother David Bryan Neal (Gay).

A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Saint Francis Episcopal Church (1650 SC-174, Edisto Island, SC 29438).
