With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Junior Meggett of Edisto Island, South Carolina, who passed away on March 13, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Meggett and Louise Molly Meggett; his daughter Delores Fludd; and his siblings, Willie Shine, Mary Louise Meggett Jones, Jerome Meggett, Frances Meggett and Percy Reid.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine Meggett; his children, Walter Hutchinson (Marvetta), Henrietta Mitchell (Jasper), Edith Hutchinson (Isaiah), Jackie Simmons (Danny), Julian Meggett (Jennifer), Rodney Meggett (Sabrina) and Cameron Brown (Daphanie); and his siblings, Charlotte Meggett, Edith Singleton, Sadie Bell Abraham, Margaret Shannon (Edward) and Jessie Mae Fludd. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
