She is survived by: her parents, Jenkins Mikell Pope and Charlotte "Lottie" Nelson Pope; and her children, Alfred Taylor Clarkson, III (Karen), Townsend Pope Clarkson (Stephanie), Caroline Clarkson Kennedy (Kirk) and Jenkins Lucas Clarkson (Heather). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
