She was predeceased by: her parents, Quinnie Idella Kirby and John Ellison Stokes; her sisters, Vivian Fidler and Della Ruth Hall; her husband William Penn "Bill" Partenheimer; and her great grandchild Elizabeth Faith Whitney.
She is survived by: her children, George Gardner Wilkes (Jerri), Rebecca Yarbrough (Dwight), Nancy Garrett (John) and Will Partenheimer (Angie); her granddaughter Kathryn Whitney (Teddy); her children, Sarah R. Yarbrough, James Yarbrough (Sarah), Laura Wilkes-D'Amato (Stephen), Rachel Epps (Steven), Mirabella Garrett and Kayle Scalise (Michael); her great grandchild Thomas Yarbrough; and her grandchildren, Hollis Whitney, Millie, Mollie, Marlee Epps and Oliver Scalise.
