She was predeceased by: her husband Donald R. Pate; her father Francis Lee Kinsey; and her sisters, Nettie Matthews, Boodie Godwin and Dell McCrea.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Pate of Orlando, FL and Kinny Pate (Ann) of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Don Pate (Kim) of Louisville, KY and Kinsey Schultz (Matt) of Winston-Salem, NC; her great grandchild Eli Pate of Louisville, KY; her brother-in-law Robert A. Godwin; and her nieces and nephews, Paulette Pate Mahon, Meg Herndon, Gail Greer, Douglas McCrea, Richard McCrea and Keith McCrea. She is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
