It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Sissy Demby of Edgemoor, South Carolina, born in Rock Hill, South Carolina, who passed away on December 19, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Archie and Annie Shaver Demby; her husband Clyde Demby; her daughter Faye Demby; and her siblings, Arthur Archie, Jimmy Archie, William Archie, Ethel Faile, Betty Carpenter and Laura Easter.
She is survived by: her sons, Wayne Demby (Connie) of Edgemoor, SC and Scott Demby (Kay) of Franklin, NC; her grandchildren, Gina Hinson and James R. Demby; and her great grandchildren, Brittany Hinson, Kaela Hinson, Camryn Demby, Jayla Lambert and Tyler Hammond.
