She was predeceased by: her parents, James L. Roberts and Clara V. George Roberts; her husband Jerry Homer Bennett; her child Cathrine Ann Costner; and her siblings, JB Roberts, Drewey Roberts, Tommy Roberts, Dorothy Roberts Hairfield and Anna Lee Roberts Massey.
She is survived by: her children, Athena Lindsay, Jerry "Mike" Bennett, Teresa Haggins, Sonya Berry and Susan Atkinson; her grandchildren, Julia Jones, Junior Catoe, Robbie, Catoe, Nicolas Lindsay, Phillip Lindsay, Christy Locklair and Lisa Montgomery; and her siblings, Samuel Roberts, Wayne Roberts and Velma Mae Benson (Doll). She is also survived by six great grandchildren; and countless nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home (700 Heckle Blvd, Rock Hill, SC 29730). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
