He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Dewitt Farmer and Zoia Holcombe Farmer; his wife Geraldine Hollis Farmer; and his sisters, Berta Mae Arrowood, Marie Garris and Lois Hahn.
He is survived by: his children, Calvin D. "Scutt" Farmer (Andrea) of Edgemoor, Renee F. West (Marty) and Karlene Haley (Robby); his grandchildren, Miranda Smith (Michael), Joley Freeman (Brad), Marty West Jr., Jenna Cornwell (Gene), Rhett Haley (Meredith), Erin Olson (Wayde) and Matt West (Dannielle); and his siblings, Tommy Farmer of Rock Hill, Ethel Buchanan of Rock Hill, Betty Farmer of Rock Hill and Linda Forrester of Rock Hill.
