He is survived by: his sons, Mike Holmes (Tonya) and Tony Holmes; his siblings, Ann Trotter and Ross Holmes (Judy); his grandchildren, Sonya Risher (Lee), Amanda Sievert (Bud) and Aaron Davis (Ashland); his great grandchildren, Ava, Rylan and Kenzley; and his great great grandchild Addie.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home (801 Columbia Rd, Edgefield, SC 29824).
