It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Lamb Wooten of Edgefield, South Carolina, who passed away on January 27, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas C. Wooten; her son Dr. John Wooten; and her grandchildren, Derrick Jones and Leisa Holmes. She is survived by: her children, Denise Holmes, Donna Abney (Jack), Cathy Maffett (Bill) and Craig Wooten (Marianne); her brother James Lamb (Carolyn); and her daughter-in-law Suzanne Macksoud Wooten. She is also survived by her family and friends.

Due to COVID-19, a private graveside services will be held.
