He is survived by: his close friend Terese Sanders; his daughters, Diane Ryans and Robin Chapman; his siblings, Levi Ryans (Gloria), Clarence Ryans (Rhonda) of St. Petersburg, Eddie Ryans (Ida) of McCormick, Whitfield Trenton of South Carolina, John Ryans (Jenell), George Ryans of Edgefield, Ernestine Jones of Hartford, Clara Snell of Torrington and Skavon (Rawliegh Andrews) of Rochester; and his aunt Hattie Mucier of McCormick. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
