He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Emmie DeLoach and Junius Irving Padgett, Sr.; his wife Betty Acker Padgett; his daughters, Linda Padgett Steelmon of Edgefield, SC and Pennye Padgett McCormick (late Mike) of Lakeland, FL; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Steemon McKennedy (Pete Crispell), Daniel Steelmon of Durham, NC, Tyler DeLoach McCormick of Mulberry, FL and Benjamin Michael McCormick (Kirstyn) of Ocala, FL; and his great grandchildren, Luke Simmers, McKayla of Clayton, CJ, Cammie, Asher, Tate and Frankie McCormick.
