It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mae Carpenter Padgett of Edgefield, South Carolina, born in Aiken, South Carolina, who passed away on August 3, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Herman M. Padgett, Sr.; and her parents, Mart Gary and Lona Bell Carpenter. She is survived by: her son Herman M. "Jett", Jr. Padgett (Becky); her grandsons, Matt Padgett (Lori) and Adam Padgett; and her great grandchild Lincoln Carter Hunt.
Due to COVID-19 a Private Graveside Service will be held at Ebenezer Cemetery in Trenton, SC.
