He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy T. Phillips and Olivia Rowe Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Paula Kelly Phillips; his daughters, Mandy Roberts and Haley Phillips (Bryan Zane); his grandson Liam Paul Roberts; and his brother Thomas R. Phillips (Donna).
