We are sad to announce that on December 2, 2023, at the age of 84, Frank Bettis Hammond of Edgefield, South Carolina, born in Augusta, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vina Smith Hammond and Bob Lee "Coonie" Hammond. He is survived by: his son Brad Hammond (Paige); his grandchildren, Garret and Emily; and his siblings, Col. Bobby Hammond, Myrtle H. Anderson and June H. McKinnon.
