She is survived by: her children, James Whitfield Gilchrist, Jr. (Dana), Joseph Holland Gilchrist (Cindy), William Hawthorne Gilchrist (Carolyn) and Grace Elizabeth Gilchrist Knie (Patrick); her grandson Justin Gilchrist (Kari); her daughters, Brianna Gilchrist, Laura Carlisle Gilchrist, Elizabeth Spenser Gilchrist and Katherine Holland Gilchrist; and her great grandchildren, Harper Grace and Jackson.
