He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace McGee Boatwright and Earl Boatwright; and his siblings, Jeanette (James Stone), Phillip (Marie Boatwright) and Eddie Boatwright.
He is survived by: his sister Rachel Hall (Billy); and his sister-in-law Audrey Boatwright. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
