It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Burton of Edgefield, South Carolina, who passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Bobby departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Bobby may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Bobby leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elijah Burton and Samuella Padget Burton; and his siblings, Clara Burton, Frances Cook, Dorothy Smith and Marshal Burton.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Greene Burton; his daughters, Brana Patterson (Dean) and Robin Robertson (Chad) of Edgefield, SC; and his grandchildren, Brycen, Caden Patterson and Addison Robertson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Edgefield First Baptist Church (212 Church St, Edgefield, SC 29824). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
