He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie David Butler, Sr. and Martha Higgins Butler. He is survived by: his wife Catherine M. Butler; his children, Reverend Eric Butler (Ta'Nedria) of Augusta, GA, Dedra Butler and Jennifer Daniels (Shannon) of Greenwood, SC; his stepson Rothell McCullough (Nicole); his sisters, Juanita Drumming, Laverne Butler (Debra Butler), Helen Jefferson (Maurice Butler) and Wanda Glanton (Dale) of Johnston, SC; and his sons, Darrell Blocker (Cynthia), John A. Blocker (Audrey), Barrick D. Blocker (Rosalind), Petric S. Blocker (Claritha) and Alex L. Blocker (Sonja). He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers.
