He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Lane and Isabelle Rheuark Butler; and his siblings, Sylvia Butler Sarvis, Kathy Butler Rast, Karen Butler, Vickie Butler and J. Ricky.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Larry Lomas; his wife Silvia Bernasconi Butler; his children, Stephanie Butler Jackson (Barry) and Christopher Wayne Butler (Tiffany); his grandchildren, Savannah Bree Butler, Bailey Walsh Butler, Austin and Justin Jackson; and his sisters, Paulette Butler Lomas, Linda Butler Barksdale (Dick) and Cheryl Butler Henry (Jim). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
