With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carl Edward Short of Eastover, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 14, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Short, Jr. and Margaret Gregory Short; and his siblings, Frances Conley and Leon Short. He is survived by: his children, Susan Short Jackson of Lugoff and Brian Short (Dawn) of Chesterfield, VA; his grandchildren, Tyler Jackson, Tanner Jackson, Arielle Short, Alexis Short, Gage DiMarco and Mason Short; his great grandchild Evie Marie Lane; his girlfriend Rebecca Brown; and his siblings, Charlotte Brown, Phyllis Cook, Freda Aliff, Dickie Short and Timothy Short.
