She was predeceased by: her husband James Harold Hipp; her parents, Richard Milton and Hattie Florine Looper Baker; her brothers, Richard and Tommy Baker; and her grandsons, Wade and Nathaniel Plumier.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Ballew (Edward) of Easley, Teresa Talley (Perry) of Easley, Tammy Hipp of Easley and Sandra Plumier (Nick) of Hayesville, NC; her sister Pat McWhorter of Easley; her grandchildren, Michael McAlister and Jesse Plumier; and her great grandchild Amira McAlister.
