He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Jr. Powell and Christen Turner Powell; his wife Betty Wright Powell; his daughter Angela Powell of Greenville, SC; his stepchildren, Althea Young of Fountain Inn, SC, Quinton Wilkie of Greenville, SC and Joshua Wright of Greenville, SC; and his siblings, Mary Powell of Easley, SC, David Powel of Central, SC and Kenneth Powell of Georgia. He was also cherished by three grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
