He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Luther Blassingame and Annie Mae Acker Blassingame; his children, Whatinia Mack (Keith) of Orangeburg, SC, Wendy Johnson of Anderson, SC, Brenda Ashmore (Deacon Paul Joseph) of Greenville, SC and Walt Blassingame, Jr. (Brandy) of Easley, SC; and his sisters, Lily McDonald of Gray Court, SC and Zomena Scott (Robert) of Greenville, SC. He was also cherished by twelve grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
