She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby Hugh Skelton; her sisters, Zelma O'Shields Sommers and Betty Ramey; her son-in-law Charles Bare; and her granddaughter Brooke Skelton.

She is survived by: her children, Randy Skelton (Penne) of Liberty, Timothy Skelton (Kim) of Pickens, Tommy Blackston of Starr, Diane Youngblood (Jim) of Easley and Bobbie Bare of Knoxville, TN; her grandchildren, Chad Evatt (Michelle), Zach Skelton, Alicia Simpson (Derrick), Emma Youngblood and Brittany Norton (Jon); and her great grandchildren, Haley Evatt, Cole Evatt, Lincoln, Solomon Simpson, Levi and Laken Norton.
