She was predeceased by: her father Sam Mathis; her former husband John Walters; her son Charles Daniel Walters; her brother Buster Mathis; her grandson Daniel Walters; and her brother-in-law Harry McClain.
She is survived by: her husband James Junior Holcombe of Easley; her children, Becky Parker and Sammy Walters; her siblings, Louise Kline (Bob), Ruth McClain, Katherine Smith (Bobby), Larry Mathis and Benny Mathis (Linda); and her stepchildren, Mike Holcombe, Tony Holcombe, Bruce Holcombe and Lorna Holcombe. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
