It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sophie Mae Brooks of Easley, South Carolina, who passed away on January 4, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John C. Brooks; her parents, William Dyre and Delphie Lee Sentell Stewart; and her children, Renee Stewart and John Michael Brooks.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jonathan Strong (Wendy) of Liberty, Kristi Crowe (Tony) of Easley and Sarah Webb (Jess) of Pendleton; and her great grandchildren, Blake, Cassie, Braden, Carter, Kaylee, Dailynn, Eli, Jerred and Andrew.
