He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo Alan Young and Elma Truluck Young; his wife Edna Calcutt Young; his son Russell Todd Young; and his siblings, Cleo Alan Young, Jr. and Katherine Young Atkinson.
He is survived by: his son Lynn Young (Jean); and his grandsons, Hampton Ray Young (Taylor), Connor Parrott Young, Andrew Sullivan Young and Matthew Berkeley Young. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
