He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Rufus Ellenburg, Sr. and Flora Gilstrap Ellenburg; his daughter-in-law Lynn Ellenburg; and his siblings, Ressie Woods, Myrtle Corey, Wilma Conner, Alcie, Ralph, Leland, Dewey, Louie and Herbert Ellenburg.
He is survived by: his wife Bettie Waldrop Ellenburg; his children, Samuel Rickey Ellenburg of Easley and Shirley Ellenburg Truluck (Ray) of Greenville; his granddaughters, Mary Beth Doherty (Reid) and Danielle Ellenburg; and his sister Joyce Owens of Easley. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
