She was predeceased by: her spouse Ansel Lee Leopard; her parents, Kimsey Lee Thompson Messer and Estelle Cody Messer; her children, Johnny Leopard and Wanda Capps; and her siblings, Buck Messer, Gene Messer, Walter Moore, Shirley Gaus, Mary Ann Carlton and Reba Moore.

She is survived by: her children, Patsy Ammons (Freddie), Joann Moore (Greg) and Ansel Leopard, Jr. (Cricket); her brother Danny Moore (Martha); and her son-in-law Keith Capps. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
